This bronze medal by Anton Scharff, Vienna, was issued by the Corporation of the City of London to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887 (BHM 3284). It is arguably the most beautiful medal issued to commemorate this event. The medal shows the conjoined busts of Victoria as she was in both 1837 and 1887. The reverse shows Britannia standing in a cart drawn by two lions and led by Genius; Justice and Prudence on either side. The diameter is 80mm and the condition EF.
