This extremely rare silver medal by L. C. Wyon was produced for the Art Union of London (BHM 2535). It was commissioned in 1851, the year William Wyon died, and allotted in 1855. Only 36 silver medals were struck. The diameter is 55mm and the condition EF. The medal is contained in its original green leather case with the emblem of the Art Union of London impressed in gilt on the lid. Payment by bank transfer, or Sterling, Dollar or Euro cheque only.
